I was creative, bold, and full of spirit as a child. However, adolescent years were tough for me. I couldn’t understand my oversensitivity, felt lonely and diffident all the time, and suppressed my inner authentic voices to adhere to social rules and family expectations. 

I was a science/math major entering college because that’s school taught me to be. After researching almost every degree plan, taking every personality/career test I could find, and having tons of tearful conversations with my parents, I ended with a marketing degree and directly apply for graduate schools to study drama therapy. 

Right now, I am practicing as a drama therapist in NYC, not a life coach. Because whatever career you choose, you are always providing and serving the same thing you value for. For me, it’s about empowering and connecting. It’s about trusting clients have abilities to help themselves and witnessing the process of making peace and achieving growths.
